Dear son....

Dear Son,

I know I haven't written in a while, but I wanted to take a moment out of this day to speak to you one on one privately. You're getting older now, and I realize that while you may be going through some difficult challenges in your life known as adolescence, I want you to also know that I am NOT YOUR MAID!! While de-cluttering this week, I've discovered many of your lovely treasures, known as candy wrappers, empty water bottles and other goodies left behind, under and in the couch, in the entertainment center, under your bed, in the floor vase and even stuffed in a flower container. While I do enjoy feeding you, clothing you and take care of you daily, I refuse to have my house be a refuge for cast away bugs!

So, I would appreciate it if you would please take the time to walk the 10 feet it takes from the living room to the kitchen to dispose of your trash in the future.

Love,
Mommie

Just taking a break from the week to update you on my cleaning progress...all's well and coming along. I'm already feeling the stress being relieved from my life. Tomorrow, I start upstairs and tackle my workspace and papers...what fun! Oh, and If you see my son before tomorrow, please tell him I'm looking for him.

Unveiling,
Dee

Dee you're so funny. I can certainly understand your frustration... I hate cleaning up after other people!

He's a mess Angelina, I try to pick my battles and just let some things go, but this I'm going to put up a fight til the end for, LOL.

That is too funny. My two are a mess too! I understand! It gets tiring reminding and fussing but it's worth it.

My 17 year old daughter is conducting science experiments in her room! Unintentionally! She brings her trash out when asked...I'm afraid to enter.

Christine- glad to know it's not just me.
