Runako Designs - Birthstone Jewelry

Personalized jewelry is the latest fashion trend. You can get anything from your initials, sentiments, charms and birthstones, and I have to ask, what better way to unveil yourself, than with a great piece of jewelry thats all about YOU. Most of you probably already own something with your birthstone in it, whether it is a ring, necklace or a pair of earrings. Ask anyone you know, what their birthstone is, and they will readily share with you the stone and possibly its qualities.

I knew I wanted to offer a birthstone piece at Runako Designs but wasn't sure of exactly what it would be. I spent days trying to come up with the perfect design, and after hours of sketching and measuring and thinking, I finally settled on a design that had special meaning to me, and that I felt would create the same sentiment for my customers. The task however, was finding components to match my drawing that came out of my head...not an easy task! But low and behold, I was able to source everything I imagined , and the finished piece is one that I'm very proud of.

This unique Runkao Design Sterling Silver birthstone necklace was inspired by the Bali Pendant that dominates this design. The swirl to me represents all the paths we take through life. The Sterling teardrop pendant was chosen to represent life's sorrows and the Swarovski Crystal represents our birth (the crystal in this necklace represents my birth month of October). The Marquise Sterling pendant, was chosen to give balance to the design, hence to me representing your life's chosen Spirituality that keeps everything in perspective.
