What's Your Jewelry Style...Part I

Have you ever thought about whether or not you have a personal jewelry style? Ever wondered if picking jewelry should be like picking clothes or a new hair style? Why not? Jewelry can do wonders for taking the emphasis off of a problem area or emphasizing one of your best features.

In most cases, jewelry changes with the season, just like clothes, but that doesn't mean you have to change your jewelry wardrobe four times a year with it, that could be costly. Most people do have a certain type of jewelry they typically wear, whether it be bold, dainty, flashy or silver versus gold. However, what most women don't realize is that they may be wearing the wrong jewelry, which can be just as devastating as a full figured woman wearing horizontal stripes, or a broad shouldered woman wearing shoulder pads....oh my! Just because that new fashionable 7 strand 36 inch gold chain necklace looks great on that model at the Ebony Fashion show, does not mean it's going to look great on you, especially if she's 6 feet 2 and you're 5'1 weighing in at 130 pounds! Somethings just aren't meant to be. And just because your girl friend Susan is sporting the latest Tiffany's sterling silver initial necklace with a 1mm link chain that looks fabulous, it's not going to work for you if you're a fashionably full figured woman with a thicker neck...okay, getting my point? What I'm saying is It DOES MATTER, and over the next few days, I'll be sharing with you tips and tricks for selecting jewelry that's just right for you...or at least that will accentuate your best qualities. Also, check out a few designs I've been working on while you wait, for part II of What's Your Jewelry Style?

Unveiling,
Dee
