Remember Regina Hare from our wedding interview last year? Planning with Excellence and Embassy Suites Hotel in Richmond, Virginia, are sponsoring a Green Wedding 2009 contest. This contest is for any couple interested winning a FREE wedding! The requirement is that you submit an essay describing your ideal green wedding. All Essays' must be submitted by April 1, 2009. Winners to be announced April 30th. Their hope is to create an awareness about green weddings and what they mean to the environment. Participants must forgo some of the more traditional selections of wedding planning and choose some of the more environmentally safe ways to planning a wedding. Participating vendors will provide planning services such as, planning, invitations, customized jewelry, wedding attire and a lot more.
