I'd just like to take a minute to send thoughts and prayers out to the families in the Gulf today. I have family and friends in New Orleans and they were evacuating on Sunday, while I've not been able to make contact with them as of tonight, I feel that they are safe.
The hurricane looks like it may have spared the city of New Orleans, but its wrath was still felt by surrounding parishes and States still to come. Let's take a minute to reflect and give thanks, that these folks did not have to endure what they had three years ago and give Kudos to City and State officials for such a well executed evacuation plan. Over the next few days they still have work to do to access the damage and get families back into their homes, so lets keep them all in our thoughts and prayers.
