Is this Really a Vacation?

Hanging out on the beach, shopping til you drop, hitting the road with no agenda, sleeping in and just relaxing for a week. That's what vacationing is all about, unfortunately, I won't be experiencing it this week. That's right, I'm on vacation and I'm de-cluttering all week!

Believe it or not, I'm as happy as Alice about the opportunity to take off with no agenda and get my house in order, because right now, my life is pure chaos! When this week is done, I'll be ready to take on anything, to include more time with my son before school starts, a couple of weekend trips, organization in my business and evenings without having to rush home and clean up. That.... my friends will be worth all the trips to Goodwill and the dump this week and I may have a Cluttercast or two to give-a-way!

Cluttercatcher of the Week

This weeks Cluttercather, Ashley, has won the Pampered Chef Cookie Press. Ashley said:

"I would love to get my hands on this as a gift for my mother....She is an avid baker, and the arthritis in her hands has made it nearly impossible for her to bake much of anything...This would allow her some freedom to bake again."

Congratulations Ashley, you're the Cluttercatcher of the week! I hope your mom enjoys. Please contact me directly so that we can make arrangements to ship your winnings and don't forget to send us pictures to post!

Don't forget to visit Darryle over at the original Cluttercast for some other great goodies all week. A dear friend of mine, Loretta, just won a ton of yarn for her knitting group. They'll be knitting helmet warmers for the troops in Iraq. That's clutter that should make Darryle proud of for a long time.

Cluttercasting - Cookie Press Give-A-Way

We're back for the second Cluttercast give away at Runako Designs an original idea by Darryle Pollack over at Cluttercast. As some of you know, I'm just not a baker. It's just not something I enjoy doing..from scratch that is. Give me a box, a quick easy recipe and we're good, but flour and yeast and kneading and rolling and handmade icing is just not my thing. However I DO, bake cookies and candy with my son EVERY christmas... the easiest way possible, yet he still appreciates me.

Pampered Chef Cookie Press - $priceless

Having very good intentions when I purchased today's give-a-way FIVE years ago, I never used it! I have every Pampered Chef gadget you could imagine, yet this is one that I've never used and never will, because I'm cluttercasting it away tonight! Yes, I could sell it, I'm sure, and get a few good pennies, but that would mean it would probably sit in my closet another year, so out with the unused and in with a new book I won tonight over at Monkey's Momma, you'll never guess what it's titled...............Mrs. Meyers Clean House...now isn't that a hoot!

Okay, so if you think you'd like this fabulous Pampered Chef cookie press, never used, brand new, 9 attachments, subscribe as a follower, leave a comment and tell me why you should win it or if you know someone else who might like these, please pass this post along. I'll choose a winner Monday night, April 20th and post to the board. Only catch, is you have to send a photo of you and your new gadget, and you cover the actual cost of shipping.

Let the Cluttercatchers begin!

I'm Just Going to Give It Away!!

(I'll tell you at the end how you can win this FREE)

Okay, so, last night I'm making up a list of things to do today, then I visit a few of my favorite blogs. While reading through last night I ran across a great post on Monkey's Momma, where she had won a Pink Prada Bag! Curious of course I follow her link to a site called Cluttercast. Darryle Pollack has come up with a great idea for getting rid of her clutter by giving it away!...that's right giving it away...FREE, all you pay is Priority shipping! Her vision was inspired by her New Years resolution to clear it out! Darryle says, "Cluttercasting is a new way of giving and a way to bring people together in the spirit of President Obama and the mood of the country right now". It also helps her get rid of the clutter in her own home. Notice I didn't say junk, clutter is a "confused multi-tude of things"...big difference! Darryle just gave away a brand new HP photo printer this week!

Cluttercast - Connecting through Clutter!

So, in the spirit of keeping up with the mood, I've decided to Cluttercast a few items of my own over the next few months...starting today! So join as a follower or grab my feed, so you don't miss a single Cluttercast post.

I purchased this necklace and earring set two Christmas' ago from Kohl's, never worn, and still in the packaging and in excellent condition. Don't get me wrong, I think the set is beautiful; however, I've committed to only wearing my own jewelry that I make, and pieces of other jewelry designers that are handmade. So, instead of putting it in the bag to take to Goodwill, I'm doing a little Goodwill of my own and GIVING IT AWAY!

If you like this set, all you have to do is post a comment below. If you know someone else who might like it, please past the post along to them. On Monday, I'll be selecting a recipient and announcing them in a post. The only thing I ask if you win, is that you send me a photo of you in the necklace when you receive it, so that I can post about your Cluttercatch! Visit Cluttercast.com frequently, where you may be able to win some other great items.
