I'm long overdue for posting a quick tip that's useful, so here is one that I'm sure someone else can use. I'm sure I'm not the only one who takes off rings, and jewelry before hand washing dishes, only to lay them on the counter or window sill, or maybe just before you step into the shower, you remember you're still wearing your watch or necklace that's not suppose to get wet?
Try placing a cup hook next to your sink or even next to your tub. They come in a variety of styles, but I find the suction cup the most useful for me. I can easily take it down and place it in a drawer when I'm done. I also have one next to my shower on the wall, that's a permanent fixture. Just before stepping in, I remove my bracelet or necklace and hang it up until I get out. The hooks pictured above can be found at The Container store in medium or large for only $1.99.
